What if I go on vacation?
No problem. Notify us 48 hours in advance and we’ll pause your service
How can I Pay?
With credit/debit cards. We’ll charge you on the 1st of each month before services are provided. Payments for initial or one time cleanup are due upon completion of the job.
Note: If you move forward with weekly cleanups after initial cleanup, you will be billed for the remainder of the month including initial cleanup on the same day.
**Example**
Billy signed up for weekly services after initial clean up on Monday starting 3/15/2024. He pays $90 per month for every Monday cleanups.
The agreed rate for initial cleaning is $100. Billy will be charged $100 (initial cleaning) plus the remainder of the month (2 more clean ups).
Total due 3/15/24: $145 ($100 +$45)
4/1/24: $90 (Recurring Cleanups)
5/1/24: $90 (Recurring Cleanups)
What is my responsibility as a client?
- Easy Access: Please ensure your yard is easily accessible on scheduled service days.
- Lawn Maintenance: Lawns should be regularly maintained, and free of excessive leaves or debris. During autumn, when “poop camouflage season” sets in, please be mindful that we can only pick up what is visible.
- Gate Access: Gates should be free of snow and ice, and unlocked when we arrive. If you provide us with gate codes, we will always securely lock up after completing the service.
- Aggressive Dogs: For the safety of our team, any aggressive dogs must be kept indoors during scheduled service times.
- Service Cancellation: If you need to skip a service, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
Can you scoop with my dog in the yard?
Scoop n Wag loves working with dogs. Our technicians have no issues with that as long as your dog is friendly. If your dog is showing aggression, we will make attempts to contact you either by knocking on the door or calling.
What time will you be at my home?
Regarding scheduling, we can’t provide a specific timeframe for your scoop day. Much like garbage collection, we operate on designated service days, which helps us keep our rates affordable for you. Our routes typically run from around 7:30 a.m. until dark.
We value communication, so you’ll always receive a text notification when we’re on our way. Expect about 45-60 minutes’ notice before our arrival. If you’re at the start of our route, you’ll likely get a text about 15-30 minutes before we arrive. We aim to avoid disturbing you early in the morning when most people are still asleep. Your scoop day will remain consistent each week, and if there are any changes to your service day, we’ll notify you well in advance.
Do I have to be home when you clean?
No, we simply ask for easy access to your gate.

Do you disinfect your equipment to prevent the spread of germs?
Yes! Safety is our top priority. We disinfect all our equipment and shoes with kennel-grade disinfectants to prevent the spread of germs.
Will you scoop if it rains?
Yes! We operate 12 months out of the year and will show up when weather conditions are safe regardless of rain, snow, or other unfavorable conditions.
We understand how important our service is to you and your furry friends. If we’re unable to provide service for a week due to unsafe conditions, we will do our utmost to reschedule for the following day or two. If that’s not possible, we’ll make sure to catch up by doing double duty the following week. Please know that you will still be charged for the full month, as we’re committed to addressing the same amount of pet waste and putting in the necessary time to keep your yard clean and safe.
